LŪPR stands for: Live Updates & Player Recon. Our mission is simple: Know Before You Tee Off. LŪPR exists to help golfers share valuable, accurate, and timely information that improves the experience for everyone.
Welcome to LŪPR
These guidelines help maintain a trusted community where golfers can contribute meaningful insights and learn from one
another. By participating in the LŪPR community, you agree to follow these guidelines.
1. Golfers Helping Golfers
Every report, photo, comment, and recommendation should be submitted with one goal: Helping another golfer. Before posting, ask yourself: “Would this have helped me before my round?” If the answer is yes, you’re on the right track.
2. Be Accurate
LŪPR is built on trust. Only submit information that you believe is accurate and current.
Useful reports: Greens are firm and rolling fast; Pin is tucked back-right; Fairway is soft; Wind is helping on holes 12-15.
Do not post: False information, misleading reports, or fake course updates. Repeated inaccuracies result in reduced trust scores.
3. Keep Reports Relevant
LŪPR is designed for golf intelligence. Helpful content includes: Course conditions, Pin locations, Local strategy, Hole-by-hole advice, Weather impacts, Pace of play observations, and maintenance updates. Avoid unrelated content.
4. Respect Other Members
Treat fellow golfers with respect. Do not: Harass, Threaten, Intimidate, Bully, or Discriminate. LŪPR welcomes golfers of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds. Disagreements are acceptable; personal attacks are not.
5. Respect Courses and Staff
Constructive observations are welcome. Abusive commentary is not.
“The greens are slower today following aerification” is helpful; “The maintenance crew ruined this course” is abusive.
6. No Spam or Self-Promotion
Do not use LŪPR for: Advertising, Lead generation, Affiliate marketing, Selling products, or Recruiting customers unless
specifically approved by LŪPR.
7. Photo Guidelines
Photos should contribute useful information (Pin positions, Green conditions, Hazards). Do not upload offensive content, graphic material, or copyrighted work you do not own.
8. Protect Privacy
Do not share personal phone numbers, addresses, emails, or financial information. Respect the privacy of other golfers and
course personnel.
9. Rankings and Reputation
Trust and reputation are earned through accurate reports and helpful contributions. Attempting to manipulate engagement
metrics may result in account restrictions.
10. Local Experts and Ambassadors
Ambassadors lead by example and welcome new members. Status may be revoked for violations of these guidelines.
11. Course Authority Accounts
Official updates from Course Authority accounts are authoritative. Impersonating official management is strictly prohibited.
12. Reporting Content
Report violations to our moderation team. Violations may result in warnings, content removal, or permanent account suspension.
13. Build the Community You Want
LŪPR is built around shared knowledge. Every report helps another golfer. Every insight makes the network stronger.
